J. Cole isn't known as a Twitter personality, but the rapper hopped on the social media site yesterday in a rare appearance to comment on the NFL and perhaps more randomly, Cardi B.

Before calling again for a boycott of the NFL following the league's refusal to sign Colin Kaepernick after he kneeled during the National Anthem last year in protest of state sanctioned police violence against black people, J. Cole randomly shouted out rising rap star, Cardi B.

“Cardi b I seen your breakfast club interview, loved it,” he wrote. “Don’t put all that pressure on your album. You already won. Just drop & repeat.”

In the Breakfast Club interview, Cardi said she'd be pushing back her album, which was originally slated to drop in October.

"Every single time I think I got all the 10 songs I’m like, I’m buggin. These ain’t it. It’s just like, damn I’m competing with myself," she admitted in the inteview. "I’m competing with the goddamn No. 2 record [on the Billboard Hot 100] and stuff.”

Cardi didn't hesitate to show her appreciation for J. Cole's advice.

“Is this real :’) Son my heart is smiling. Well who am I not to take J cole advice," she wrote.
