With A-Trak‘s track record, teaming up with Cam’ron seems like a likely partnership. He was once Kanye West‘s DJ and founded Fool’s Gold Records (home to Danny Brown and Run the Jewels) after all. The duo’s new track, ‘Humphrey’ firmly cements their union.

‘Humphrey’ offers an upbeat sound, forming a seamless foundation for the Harlem rapper to flow over. Cam rhymes about growing up in his neighborhood, parents dabbling in drugs and even getting some “crackhead fellatio.”

“I ain’t fight my way to the top of the food chain to be a vegetarian / I get my own,” he delivers. “My parents got high / No lie, it’s no shame / A product of dust, lust and cocaine.”

The song is the first collaboration off A-Trak and Cam’ron’s new EP, ‘Federal Reserve,’ which arrives this spring. Damon Dash is the executive producer of the project and Jim Jones and Juelz Santana will also be featured. This marks the first time the three main members of Dipset have been in the studio together since ‘Salute’ in 2010.
