After a lengthy hiatus, Cam'Ron has finally put out a new project in his 'Ghetto Heaven Vol. 1' mixtape

The production duties on 'Ghetto Heaven' are for the most part, handled by unknowns like YH Zombie and Lizzy, though Araabmuzik has a beat on the project, and Cam'Ron produces two tracks himself. As for features, the Harlemite enlists 2 Chainz, T.I., Yo Gotti, and Loaded Lux, among others.

It has been well over a year since Cam has released a project of any type. However, on this mixtape, Cam shows that he hasn't lost a step as a rapper, his scatter-brained flow includes slick, humorous punchlines and numerous references to his girlfriend, Juju. Cam is having fun with his raps, and it is easy to get drawn into his world where things are just not that serious.

One of the highlights from the project comes on 'Come And Talk To Me (Remix),' where Cam addresses a line Jay Z said on his collaboration with Drake, 'Pound Cake.' In that verse, Jay essentially implied that he made Cam'Ron a millionaire. Cam's response, of course, is that he was already a millionaire before he connected with Jay.

It will be interesting to see where Cam goes from here. His last solo album, 'Crime Pays,' came out in 2009.
