Cam'ron went on Instagram last night (July 25) and shared a verse about Big L. The two were both members of Children of the Corn. Big L was shot and killed in 1999 and this past June, the main suspect in Big L's death, Gerard Woodely, was killed in Harlem.

In the clip, Cam'ron raps:

"139 Park, we started off as children / Grew up with Big L, and the dude who supposedly killed him / A week before that, though, Big L tried to kill him / What was he to do? / When the time’s right I will tell you about these villains / Now everybody dead, so it ain’t about squealing."

The verse is suspected to be on Cam's upcoming album, Killa Season 2, which is slated for a November release. The Harlem rapper has been recalling the past quite a bit lately. He recently went on DJ Whoo Kid's Shade 45 showThe Whoolywood Shuffle, to explain the history behind Jay Z and the stabbing of Lance “Un” Rivera back in 1999. He shared that the two were fighting over Grammy-nominated rapper Charli Baltimore (who was in a romantic relationship with the Notorious B.I.G. at the time).

Cam has obviously also been busy making music. Earlier this summer, he reunited with Dipset on the anthemic track “Oh Yeah.”
