Burn Rubber x New Balance 572 ‘Vernors’

If you call soda "pop" then you just might be from the midwest. And, if that's the case, chances are you also may know what Vernors is. If you're not however, Detroit sneaker boutique Burn Rubber is here to educate you about the ginger soda with their latest New Balance in the soda bottle's colors.

The New Balance 572 is given a green suede upper with a sweet woodgrain pattern on the toebox and ankle. Golden yellow accents echo the can's colors perfectly while a translucent gum outsole and graphic insole give things a more literal ginger ale feel.

These are pretty much instant classics if you are a Detroiter, but Motor City residency isn't necessary to appreciate the homage to James Vernor's tasty beverage. You can pick them up at Burn Rubber on Nov. 29.
