If you haven't paid any mind to Bun B lately, we'd advise you to start following his trail again. The UGK and Houston-based rapper has been destroying some of the game's brightest beats -- topical raps and freestyles -- ramping up to the release of a new solo record entitled 'OG Trill.' Apparently, the new tape, known as 'No Mixtape,' came from some confusion in a recent ad lib and quickly became a reality.

"I was like, 'My album coming soon,'" Bun explained to MTV News. "I'm actively promoting the Pimp C album, as well as my album, on these songs. People was like 'You have a mixtape?' and I was like, 'Nah.' So on a [freestyle] I was like, 'No mixtape coming soon.' My album is coming and Pimp's album is coming, but no mixtape coming soon. But people took it as 'No Mixtape' was the name of the mixtape. So all over the blogs and over the industry, people are waiting for 'No Mixtape' by Bun B. So now it's gonna have to be some kind of mixtape in some form or fashion."

Even if it was originally against his will, Bun B already has enough new material to craft one of the best mixtapes of 2010. The artist has been releasing nearly daily freestyles to influential blogs and DJs in the hip-hop world.

"We were doing two-a-days," he said. "I wanted to say that this year I would have 36 song titles, brand-new. Whether they be full songs or freestyles or features, I wanted 36 song titles next to my name that are brand-new for 2010. We would do one then shoot it to somebody, then do one and shoot it to someone else."

You can scour the Net for these new tracks or just wait for 'No Mixtape' (which Bun promises is coming very soon). 'Trill OG' will be available in April, and if the recent verses are any indication, it's bound to be a monster.
