Bun B Releases New Era x Astros Limited-Edition Cap

Trill OG rapper Bun B wears many hats. He's a rapper (of course), a professor at Rice University, sports analyst and a food blogger. Now the veteran rhyme-slinger can add designer to his resume. The Texas native has teamed up with New Era to design a new limited edition Astro baseball cap collection.

The goal with the collection is to bring Houston pride and the aesthetic of the Astros together. The three styles of the 9FIFTY hats are different but all blend the retro colors of orange, navy, black and white together with a snap or strapback on the models.

There's a premium version of the hat that features a faux leather navy crown, regular visor and a strapback. The second hat is a white and orange snapback and features the current Astros logo with the state of Texas in the backdrop. Finally, an all-black colorway cap comes in a faux leather visor and glow-in-the-dark logos of Bun B and the state of Texas. There's also reflective taping around the rear arch.

The Bun B x New Era x Astros cap will only be available at Academy Sports + Outdoors locations in the $35-40 price range. You can also cop them at the Astros team stores in Minute Maid Park in Houston.
