Former New England Patriots football player Aaron Hernandez has been found guilty of first-degree murder. On Wednesday (April 15), a Massachusetts jury found him guilty of shooting Odin Lloyd in 2013.

According to The Boston Globe, Lloyd, who was dating the sister of Hernandez’s fiancee, Shayanna Jenkins, was found dead in an industrial park with six gunshot wounds.

Hernandez showed little emotion when the verdict was handed down. The 25-year-old football player looked back at his mother and fiancee in the gallery, both were sobbing uncontrollably.

The verdict ended a 10-week trial that included testimony from 132 prosecution witnesses, including Hernandez’s fiancee and Patriots owner Robert Kraft. The defense only called three witnesses.

Hernandez isn’t finished with the legal system just yet. He still faces murder charges for allegedly killing two other men outside of a nightclub in July 2012.

The verdict has caused several people in the hip-hop community to react, sounding off on Hernandez's fate. Bun B, Joe Budden and Scarface chimed in and expressed their opinion on the ruling. Read their reactions below.
