Despite pleading guilty to cocaine possession two years ago, it looks like 'Nothin' on You' singer Bruno Mars is about to escape with a squeaky clean record.

The 26-year-old Hawaiian native, who was arrested in 2010, at the Hard Rock Hotel in Las Vegas, after a bathroom attendant caught him using cocaine in a men's room stall, has somehow managed to avoid both jail time and a criminal record, thanks to his attorney, Blair Berk.

Mars cut a sweetheart deal, pleading guilty on Feb. 16, 2011, to possession of a controlled substance, and was sentenced to a paltry $2,000 fine, eight hours of private counseling and 200 hours community service.

After putting in a total of 230 hours of community service with various children's and health-related charities, TMZ is now reporting that Mars' drug charge will officially be dismissed Wednesday (Jan. 17).

"We are very pleased that the prosecution has agreed to dismiss the charge," Berk told TMZ.

Mars has yet to comment regarding the decision. Meanwhile, his 2010 debut LP, 'Doo-Wops & Hooligans,' is up for six Grammy nominations. The 54th Annual Grammy Awards will take place Feb. 12 at the Staples Center in Los Angeles.
