British Rapper Aggro Santos Faces Rape Charges

Brazilian-born, London-based rapper Aggro Santos stands accused of raping two women, the BBC reports.

Santos, who also appeared on the British reality show 'I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here!' went before a judge in the English city of Chichester, West Sussex, where authorities say he attacked a woman earlier this year on May 7. The 22-year-old MC has also been linked to another rape that occurred in Yeovil, Somerset, last September.

Largely unknown in the US, Santos was among the final six contestants on 'I'm a Celebrity' and has landed several songs on the British charts. His debut single, 'Candy,' featuring former Pussycat Doll Kimberly Wyatt, reached No. 5 last year.

Santos has yet to enter a plea and is due on Chichester Crown Court on Jan. 5. A second man, 21-year-old Tyrelle Ritchie, has also been charged with sexual assault in the May 7 incident.
