Although Bridget Kelly is no longer on Roc Nation, she's been keeping busy with hosting gigs, performances and recording new songs. The 29-year-old singer offers a taste of the music she’s working on with her new EP, Summer of 17.

The six-track collection features production from Da Internz and a collaboration from Mack Wilds, who appears on the bouncy, finger-snapping "Act Like That." On the song, Kelly confidently teases that her loving is so good it drives men crazy.

"And I know you only want me cause it's June / If it wasn't for these poom poom shorts you would hate my attitude / You would say, 'Why you act like that?' / 'Why you gonna act like that?' / You could leave but I know you coming right back," she sings.

Overall, Summer of 17 is a refreshing EP that's perfect for cozying up with your boo on a hot summer night.

In an interview with Billboard, Kelly says she's happy with how the EP came out. "Summer of 17 -- this project is unlike anything I've ever released but I'm so proud of it," she says. "I wrote/co-wrote every song; it's tailor-made to remind myself that I'm old enough to know better but young enough not to take life [and] love too seriously."

The Summer of 17 EP is available for download on iTunes.
