Brandy, MC Lyte, Yo Yo and Queen Latifah Perform ‘I Wanna Be Down’ Remix at 2014 BET Hip Hop Awards [VIDEO]

In honor of the 20th anniversary of Brandy's debut single, 'I Wanna Be Down,' the R&B songstress graced the stage alongside her sisters-in-rhyme MC Lyte, Yo Yo and Queen Latifah to perform the remix at the 2014 BET Hip Hop Awards.

Brandy stepped out onto the bright white stage first, rocking a curly coif (we wish she brought back those braids) and a red-and-black lumberjack-inspired flannel. "I would like to get to know if I could be / The kind of girl that you could be down for," she sings.

Enter MC Lyte next, who took it back to the '90s with her set of braids. Then Yo Yo stepped out (to booming applause) to deliver her lyrics ("I've been mackin' daddy from tha corner of my eye / Now baby bring it on don't be frontin' on your baby boo / All I wanna know is what's up with you") followed by Ms. U-N-I-T-Y Queen Latifah.
