Boosie Badazz, formerly known as Lil Boosie, delivered the heartbreaking news that he has kidney cancer via Instagram on Wednesday (Nov. 25).

"I need all my fans to pray for me Doctor just told me I have cancer on my kidneys prayer is power that's why I'm letting the world know prafaboosie," read the caption next to a photo of the "Wipe Me Down" rapper with his head bowed in front of a spread of food.

Although the caption has since been deleted, the original statement was caught by social media users and shared on The Shade Room. Hundreds of fans have also offered their support in the comments to the 33-year-old rapper, who has over two million followers on the photo-sharing app.

"You gon make it thru this s--- g, you got to. Stay solid dawg," wrote one fan, while another commented, "Love you boosie! Prayers and positive vibes to you and your kids."

Social media users also made the rapper's name a trending topic on Twitter as they poured out prayers towards the famed Louisiana native.

It's unclear why Boosie took down the caption, but he'll continue to be in our prayers as well, especially since he was just released from prison last year after serving eight years on drug charges.

The Touch Down 2 Cause Hell rapper is also a doting dad. He has seven children named Iviona, Tarlaysia, Torrence Jr., Toriana, Lyric, Ivy Ray and MJ Hatch.
