Bone Thugs, specifically Krayzie Bone and Bizzy Bone, have dropped a new project today (June 23) called New Waves. The 15-song collection is available for streaming on both Apple Music and Spotify.

There’s reason why it’s called New Waves - the album features Krayzie and Bizzy spitting their signature fast-rapping, singing style over an array of new sounds, including EDM and pop-tinged beats. Die-hard fans of Bone Thugs-N-Harmony might frown upon this, but there are a few standout tracks on the album.

The project also boasts a slew of A-list guest features from Stephen Marley, Uncle Murda, Bun B, Yelawolf, Jazze Pha, Tank and Korn's Johnathan Davis. Even Bone Thugs-N-Harmony members Layzie Bone, Wish Bone and Flesh-N-Bone make cameos.

Highlights on the album including the solemn "If Heaven Had a Cellphone" (featuring Tank) and the hometown ode "Coming Home" (featuring Stephen Marley). On the soulful "Ruthless," Bone Thugs-N-Harmony vow to ride or die for their day-ones. On the celebratory track "Bottleservice," Bone Thugs are popping bottles and eating edibles over EDM-style productions.

This isn’t the first Bone Thugs-N-Harmony side project. In 2005, Bizzy Bone and Layzie Bone collaborated for the album Bone Brothers and for the sequel in 2007.
