Fresh off his film appearance in 'ATL,' Southern hip-hop giant Bone Crusher is transitioning to the small screen -- this time for the fourth installment of VH1's reality hit 'Celebrity Fit Club.'

The 6'1" heavyweight credits a past 'Fit Club' member for inspiring him to shed the excess pounds. "Bizarre of D12 is a good friend of mine, so he called me and said I should do it. It ended up being the best experience of my life," Bone Crusher revealed from the set of the series, which is currently filming in L.A.

"I'm a health-conscious guy anyway," he said. "It may not look like it, but I don't eat a lot of pork or bread. I stick to fruits and vegetables mostly. Once [the show's producers] gave me the diet, I followed it and lost a lot of weight."

Bone Crusher joins fellow cast members R&B singer Angie Stone, actor Nick Turturro, former 'Love Boat' star Ted Lange, Tina Yothers of 'Family Ties' fame, 'Baywatch's' Erika Eleniak and singer Carnie Wilson
