In case you were wondering what Bobby V had to say about the shocking videos of two black men, Alton Sterling and Philando Castile; the R&B star tweeted his musings on the current outrage and commentary surrounding the two men's deaths and the cries for justice.

"We only come together when something like this happens," Bobby posted on IG. "When this is over & there's a bigger news story we will be back to tearing each other down watching black women & professionals fight each other on tv & listening to music that keeps us dumb & divided!"

Bobby didn't explain how TV shows got Sterling and Castile shot; and he failed to draw a parallel between popular songs and officers using lethal force in situations that aren't even close to warranting of such force. But he wanted to get something off of his chest apparently.

Castile's girlfriend, Lavish "Diamond" Reynolds, spoke about her ordeal today (July 7); she livestreamed the aftermath of Castile's shooting and posted it on Facebook--sparking widespread outcry.

Needless to say, Bobby V's bit of social commentary didn't go over well on Twitter.

"#blacklivesmatter but do we only care if a white person kills blacks? What about us killing each other everyday?" he continued, as critics fired back that he was "irrelevant" and "only posting this for attention."
