After repeated attempts to get released from jail on a $2 million bond, Bobby Shmurda may get out of jail as early as today (Dec. 3).

According to TMZ, the “Hot Boy” rapper’s legal team have set up a ironclad bail package that will allow Shmurda to be release. The 21-year-old rhymer’s aunt and other family members have been working with New York bondsman Ira Judelson and have put several properties up as collateral for his $2 million bond.

In addition, Shmurda’s attorneys have put together a 200-page document listing every single penny of their bond package. The legal eagles are now trying to present this new arrangement to a judge as soon as possible.

It's been an uphill battle for Bobby Shmurda ever since he was arrested in December 2014 on numerous drugs and weapons charges. The Brooklyn, N.Y. native was denied bail on at least two separate occasions.

In an interview with Hot 97's Ebro Darden, Shmurda explained that the judge wanted the whole $2 million bond and had previously rejected motions to have his bail lowered. He also warned kids who listened to his music to not follow in his footsteps.

“[The criminal justice system] is not playing with us right now. Young black men, young kids period,” he said. “They not playing with nothing right now. They trying to take eight years out my life right now.”

If Shmurda doesn't get out on bail then he would most likely have to wait until his criminal trial, which begins on Feb. 22, 2016.

Let's hope that Bobby Shmurda gets out of prison so he can at least enjoy Christmas with his family.
