Although Bobby Brown’s life appears to be on the upswing with news that he’s going to be a father again, it appears the singer is dealing with some serious demons. The veteran R&B crooner reportedly is in rehab at a California clinic.

An insider told the New York Daily News that the “Don’t Be Cruel” singer is in rehab to deal with alcohol and substance abuse. However, Brown’s attorney has denied the claims but wouldn’t divulge what the singer is seeking treatment for in rehab.

Since the death of his daughter Bobbi Kristina in 2015, it would be understandable if Brown is still trying to cope with such a tragic loss. The 47-year-old singer has admitted in past of his struggles with alcohol and cocaine. His late ex-wife, Whitney Houston, also had issues with drugs during her career as well. The pop icon was found dead in a Beverly Hills hotel room in 2012. A coroner’s report found that she had cocaine in her system.

This latest news comes as Brown is planning to become a father again. He and his current wife, Alicia Etheredge, are expecting their third baby together.

This will be Etheredge’s third child, along with the couple’s six-year-old son Cassius. However, this will be Brown’s seventh child in total, who is also the father to six-year-old Cassius, 25-year-old LaPrincia, 23-year-old Bobby Jr., and 29-year-old Landon.

In addition, the New Edition alum is planning to release his “raw” and “unvarnished” memoir in June. The book, My Prerogative, will detail his life with Whitney and the pain of losing his daughter, Bobbi Kristina.

We want to wish Bobby Brown well and we hope to see him in better spirits.
