The funeral for Bobbi Kristina Brown, who passed away on Sunday (July 26), is scheduled for Saturday (Aug. 1) at St. James United Methodist Church in Alpharetta, Ga.

Following the funeral, the 22-year-old singer-actress will be buried next to her mother, Whitney Houston, at Fairview Cemetery in Westfield, N.J., on Monday (Aug. 3), according to ABC News.

In an effort to keep the peace between the Houston and Brown families, Hollywood mogul Tyler Perry will cover the cost of both the funeral and burial services. The 45-year-old filmmaker reportedly told the families that he would “take care of everything,” including the transport of Bobbi Kristina’s body from Atlanta to New Jersey.

Bobbi Kristina's death comes nearly six months after she was found unresponsive in a bathtub at her townhouse in Roswell, Ga., on Jan. 31. After being placed in a medically-induced coma, she was then transported to Emory University Hospital for treatment and a rehabilitation center in March. In June, Bobbi Kristina was moved to a hospice facility as her condition deteriorated.

"Krissy was and is an angel," said her father, Bobby Brown, in a statement. "My family must find a way to live with her in spirit and honor her memory. Our loss is unimaginable. We thank everyone for the prayers for Krissy and our family as we mourn my baby girl."

ABC News reports there is an ongoing investigation into the circumstances surrounding Bobbi Kristina's death by the Fulton County district attorney's office. In addition, Bobbi Kristina’s conservator filed a lawsuit accusing her boyfriend Nick Gordon of abuse and claims he took money from her without authorization.
