Although Black Panther is not at the top of the box office heap, it’s still raking in profits after nearly two months in theaters. The Ryan Coogler-directed film earned $8.4 million at the box office over the three-day weekend.

According to comScore, the industry’s leader in collecting box office data, the Marvel flick grossed a grand total of 665,355,740 in the U.S., which passed James Cameron’s flick Titanic to become America’s third highest-grossing film of all time.

Overall, Black Panther has so far grossed over $1.3 billion at the worldwide box and remains Marvel’s highest domestic-grossing film ever.

Black Panther will most likely not be able to dethroned the top grossing film ever in the U.S. -- that crown goes to Star Wars: The Force Awakens with $936,662,225.

If you want to see more of T'Challa and the Wakandan army, then get ready for Avengers: Infinity War, which hits theaters on April 27. Marvel just released a new trailer featuring T'Challa and his army gearing up to battle the evil Thanos.

At the end of the trailer, Black Panther star Danai Gurira, who plays the warrior Okoye, tells T'Challa, "When you said we are going to open Wakanda to the rest of the world, this is not what I imagined."

"What did you imagine?" he asks her back. To which she jokes, "The Olympics? Maybe even a Starbucks?"
