Big Sean has been continuously helping citizens who are enduring the ongoing Flint Water Crisis, which still hasn’t been resolved. The Detroit native has raised $100,000 through his Sean Anderson Foundation to help residents who have been exposed to toxic water in Flint, Mich.

During his appearance on The Daily Show with Trevor Noah, Sean Don talked about his initiative and his commitment to the people of Flint.

“I just know it’s not even close to being over. In that situation, I feel like, it wasn’t a natural disaster. It’s something that should’ve been prevented and could’ve been prevented,” he told Noah. “So it’s just disgusting to think about the damages that these families and even kids have to go through with the lead poisoning.”

Sean also revealed that his mother had experienced lead poisoning, but was able to reverse its some of the effects through “holistic care and homeopathic remedies.”

In addition, Sean brings his urgent message about the Flint Water Crisis to his next album, I Decided. The rapper enlisted the Flint Chosen Choir for “Bigger Than Me,” which is the last track on the album.

According to reports, Flint’s water has fallen below the federal lead limit, but many people are still leery of drinking the water. Still, there's a lot that needs to be done for the citizens of Flint to have clean drinking water. Salute to Big Sean for continuing to assist through his charitable foundation.
