Big Sean Fires at Kid Cudi and Naya Rivera on ‘No More Interviews’ [LISTEN]
Big Sean is back and he’s firing on all cylinders at Kid Cudi, his ex-girlfriend, haters, the state of hip-hop and more on his fiery new single, “No More Interviews.” Much like an interview, the Detroit native gets very candid.
Over 808 drums, whistling sounds and keyboards by producer Amaire Johnson, Sean Don has everyone talking with his verse aimed at Cudi related to his Twitter beef with Cudi over his rumored romance with Jhene Aiko.
"I’m saying though I should have learned from Hov and Dame / From Stunna and Wayne. Cudi and Ye / What happened to our family ways though / When I put you on that song with Nas you had told me that you was forever grateful / And that we brothers, so it hurt to hit the internet to find out that me and you don’t f--- with each other / Over a miscommunication / that probably could be fixed with a five minute conversation / I’m still praying for ya / I guess I charged it to the game / How much it cost? Around TWENTY88," he raps.
Sean also send a few lines to his former ex-fiancee, Naya Rivera, who plans to write a tell-all book about their relationship. He raps, "Funny thing about it is my ex wanna write a tell all / F---ed up thing about it is she ain’t even tell all," and then adds, "This my last time putting my ex in a song even though the last one went triple platinum."
Finally, Big Sean aim his lyrical shots at rappers who he feels are overhyped. "And I’m just not impressed by you n----s rapping fast / Who sound like one big asthma attack but trash when I’m rapping it back / Who you put in your top five and claim they the savior of rap," he rhymes.
Some fans arguing that these lines were for fellow Detroit rapper Eminem, while others believe this is a direct attack at Kendrick Lamar.
Either way, Big Sean got plenty of things off his chest and according to this song, he will not address any these topics in an interview.
