Big Sean and Jhene Aiko Premiere TWENTY88 ‘Out of Love’ Short Film on Tidal

A week after releasing their collaborative project TWENTY88, Big Sean and Jhene Aiko premiered their 15-minute short film for “Out of Love” exclusively on Tidal.

In the Lawrence Lamont-directed visual, the rap-and-R&B duo play futuristic adult film stars who seems to have a female robot attending to their every whims. We watch as we see Sean Don and Aiko attend the XXX adult film awards and then hit the bedroom for some sexual playtime while the female robot handles camera duties. So yeah, it gets freaky-deaky in the future.

Several songs are also featured in the film, including "Selfish," where the duo are on a set of a blaxploitation movie and “Talk Show” where Sean and Aiko have a dragged out fight on a daytime talkie.

In an interview with Flaunt magazine, Aiko said the video was inspired by the '70s aesthetic and 2015’s sci-fi movie, Ex Machina.

“We’ve created another world,” she said. “Both me and Sean are super into fantasy-driven movies and so combining stuff like robots and sex, that pretty much sums us up.”

Sean concurs: “Robots are sexy as s---.”

“We’ve created these characters that are extensions of ourselves,” Aiko continues, “it’s highly sexual.”
