Big Sean has been on his charitable grind in his hometown of Detroit during the holiday season. Last month, he gave away free turkeys and this week he visited the Children’s Hospital of Michigan at Detroit Medical Center to spread a little Christmas cheer.

The G.O.O.D. Music artist was joined by his mother, Myra Anderson, as he took pictures with some of the young patients and their families. The 'My Last' rapper also handed out toys and headphones to the children as well.

"These kids are some of the nicest people I've met! We are working on something special for them for the holidays from our Foundation," Sean wrote on his Instagram page. "Remember to count your blessings. We all are blessed! Straight up!"

He also thanked his mother, who is the president of the Sean Anderson Foundation, for inspiring him to stay humble and to give back when he can.

"Love to my mom. I honestly wouldn't do half of the cool things I do to give back to kids or people in need if it wasn't for her teaching n telling me why it's so important," he writes. "I truly have an awesome, caring mom... n that's something a lot of people don't have. I'm so happy she is my partner in the Sean Anderson Foundation."

We are too! It’s always good to see rappers giving back to their communities.
