West Coast rapper Big Paybacc was gunned down inside a McDonald's Thursday (Nov. 6) in Palmdale, Calif.

According to TMZ, police say this was no random shooting. "There was no altercation...This guy just walked in through one door, shot him and left out another door. So it looked like something personal. He had something against this individual. It wasn't like he shot up the McDonald's. He just shot him and left," cops shared.

The incident occurred at 12:30PM, when the rapper was having lunch. There were 15 other people inside the restaurant when the shooting took place. No one else was injured.

Big Paybacc's girlfriend, Jessica Jefferson, said she saw her boyfriend right before the tragic incident. She suspects his death was an act of revenge. "I just knew it," she told CBS News. "I drove by and saw his truck. I had just seen him. He left my house to come here."

Jefferson is baffled at how someone could be so ruthless to not only take someone's life, but do it in a public place in front of so many people. "For them to be that bold to run up to someone in a McDonald's in daylight, in front of people, kids, you know, and to just take some kind of vengeance on somebody, it's, it's inhumane," she said.

Sadly, the 38-year-old lyricist left behind three children.

Paybacc, born Habib Zekajj, has a slew of YouTube videos for songs like 'I'm Frum Gangstaz' and 'BMF (Bury My Foes),' but he's probably most known for his 2011 cut 'Gangsta Luv,' which has received over of a quarter of a million views on YouTube to date. Jefferson reveals he was well-respected in the local rap scene.

"Everybody loves him, and he's a good rapper," she said. "He's a good rapper, and he has so many followers and people who stand behind him. He really is a good solid person."
