It looks like Beyonce has yet another hit on her hands.

The mega-popular singer's signature perfume, Heat, is flying off shelves. According to reports, the fragrance has racked up to $3 million in sales in its first month in stores, including 72,000 bottles sold in one hour, during an in-store appearance by the multi-platinum singer.

The sales figures are impressive; a 2008 study showed that celebrity fragrances make $2.5 million in sales over their entire first year, on average. Heat is expected to earn $100 million in its first year, and it looks like it's on it's way to that mark.

"When I commit to something, I do it 100 percent, and I've never had [creative control over a fragrance] until this project," Beyonce told WWD. "I learned a lot of great things from the past - but I always asked myself, 'If I could have my own scent, what would it be?' I wasn't worried about deadlines. It could have taken me three, four, however many years - this was my first fragrance, and I wanted to make sure that it was something I would love forever."

Heat is said to feature top notes of red vanilla orchid, magnolia, neroli and blush peach, with a heart of honeysuckle nectar, almond macaroon, and crème de musk, with a base of giant sequoia milkwood, tonka bean and amber.

The fragrance is sold exclusively at Macy's.
