A day after shocking the world with the release of her visual album, Beyonce performed one of the songs from the effort at her Chicago stop of her Mrs. Carter Show World Tour Friday night (Dec. 13).

Queen Bey performed 'XO,' which is track 10 on her self-titled opus. The R&B mom led the crowd into a call-and-response with the song, which she dedicated to her fans.

"I’m going sing this song, which is a brand new song," she said. "It hasn’t even been out for 24 hours. I want to sing this to y’all because it was written for y’all."

The rousing ballad, written by Ryan Tedder and The-Dream, is earmarked to be among the singles set for release from 'BEYONCE.' According to Billboard, the Pharrell Williams-produced 'Blow' and the love song, 'Drunk In Love' (featuring Jay Z), will arrive to radio next week. Then in 2014, 'XO,' will be released to radio.

Beyonce’s album is on the fast track to premiere at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart with projected sales of 600,000 in its first three days.

We can expect Beyonce to perform several new tunes from the LP as her tour wind-downs in the U.S. The ‘Halo’ singer will perform at New York’s Barclays Center next Thursday (Dec. 19). It’s also being reported that a screening event is being planned to present all of Beyonce’s 14 videos featured on the album.
