Beyonce Rocks Little Black Dress at New York Topshop Opening, Talks Collaboration With Retailer

It looks like Beyonce has more to celebrate than just the upcoming release of the platinum edition of her surprise album. The 'XO' singer took to the red carpet last night (Nov. 4) to celebrate the opening of Topshop's new flagship store in New York City.

But that wasn't all. Last month, Bey announced her collaboration with the U.K. retailer to create a line of athletic clothing that will drop in fall 2015.

"I've been such a huge fan for so many years," she told CNBC at the event. "It's just a natural thing for us."

She rubbed shoulders with model Cara Delevingne -- she's the current face of the fashion chain -- and Topshop owner Philip Green and his family, all while wearing one of the brand's little black dresses. While her outfit is far from avant-garde or spectacular, the fact she chose a dress that retails for about $130 proves she's trying to see eye-to-eye with her fans.

Regardless of what she chose to wear last night, Beyonce rocked it.
