Earlier this month, word spread that the music industry's power couple Beyonce and Jay Z would head out on a summer tour together. Today, the rumors have been confirmed with their On the Run Tour.

The tour confirmation was announced on Bey's website this morning. The performance trek will kick off in Miami on June 25 and close out in San Francisco on Aug. 5. The 16-city stadium tour hits many of the big cities in North America but, to our surprise, passes over New York City. However, like Jay's tour with Justin Timberlake last year, there's a chance that more dates will be added.

While there are no other details regarding the tour as of yet, you can sign up for a chance to grab tickets during the pre-sale, which starts tomorrow (April 29) at 8AM.

In other news, Beyonce has also released a clip showing the premise behind her video for 'Pretty Hurts.' "It really tries to investigate the extremes that women go through to maintain and achieve this sense of outer beauty," video director Melina Matsoukas explains.
