It's the moment we've all been waiting for -- new mama Beyonce has finally emerged, making her first public appearance since the birth of daughter Blue Ivy Carter on Jan. 7!

One month since welcoming her bouncing baby girl with husband Jay-Z, Bey stepped out in New York last night (Feb. 6) to support Jay at his Carnegie Hall benefit concert for The United Way of New York City and his own scholarship fund, the Shawn Carter Foundation. During the show, Hov was emotional as he performed his fatherhood-inspired track 'Glory,' that actually features Blue Ivy's newborn cries!

A concertgoer commented on the performance to Us Weekly, saying, "You could tell Jay is over the moon. He asked the crowd if there are any proud parents out there. Then after he said, 'I didn't think I was gonna make it through that one -- that was tough.'"

But back to Queen B! The curvaceous new mom showed off her post-baby body in a figure-hugging, red-hot Alice by Temperley dress. The deep V-neck cut of the frock showed off her ample assets. Bey completed the look with giant Ofira & Lorraine Schwartz hoop earrings, an Alexander McQueen clutch, and long blonde locks. And you better believe she got her tired feet back into some Christian Louboutin platform heels. Work, girl!

Later, Bey joined Jay at his newly re-opened 40/40 Club for a star-studded after party. She trickled in 30 minutes behind her husband, but made an effort to greet guests and mix and mingle before ducking into the VIP lounge to suck on lemon wedges for the rest of the night. Sounds like a pretty sour way to end such a sweet night -- but whatever floats your boat, B!
