Beyonce's keeping it trill for the remix to her hometown ode, "I Been On." How trill? She recruited Texas natives Bun B, Z-Ro, Scarface, Willie D, Slim Thug and Lil Keke for the remix.

Sadly, she's one Bushwick Bill short of a Geto Boys reunion.

But anyway, while everyone contributes solid verses, respectfully, it may be Scarface who has the best. He spits:

"I been on, now who you gon' get to knock me off?/ I been boss, been on slab, been on paint/ been on fours homey, you been on drank/ Been had bank, 25 years and ain't fell off yet."

As for Bey herself, she's more curator than performer here.

Her role is reduced to reciting the hook ("I been on, I been, I been on/ Tell me who gon' take me off, take me off, take me off") in a chopped-and-screwed drawl. She talks a bit at the end.

"Shout out to Willie D," she says. "I was in that Willie D when I was about 14, looking crazy.... Shout out to Pimp C. You know we used to sneak and listen to that UGK."

Cool story.
