After recently giving support to Frank Ocean, Beyonce is now throwing praise towards Olympic gold medalist Gabby Douglas. The 16-year-old made history by becoming the first African-American gymnast to win the individual all-around gold medal at the London Olympics this week. As a result of her win, the pop superstar took to her website to congratulate Douglas.

"A huge congratulations to 16 year old Olympic Gold Medalist Gabby Douglas - WOW - what a thrill to watch you take this Gold! [sic]" Beyonce wrote.

Speaking from personal experience as an entertainer who also began her career at a young age, the 30-year-old 4 creator encouraged Douglas to revel in her achievement. "I can tell you've been working hard for so long -- enjoy this moment, its yours," she stated. "Thank you for inspiring all of us!"

Artists like Ciara, Rick Ross, Lil Wayne and Nicki Minaj also congratulated the Team USA Olympian, via Twitter.
