BeyonceBeyonce has joined the ever-lengthening list of celebrities who will participate in MTV's 'Hope For Haiti Now: A Global Benefit of Earthquake Relief' on Friday night (Jan. 22.) The telethon will be broadcast live from Haiti, New York, Los Angeles and London and will feature performances from several artists, including John Legend, Alicia Keys and Jay-Z, who will perform with U2 and Rihanna in London.

Beyonce, who recently announced plans to take six months off to relax and recharge, will join the A-listers like Bruce Springsteen, Mary J. Blige and Jennifer Hudson to raise funds for relief in Haiti. Anderson Cooper, Wyclef Jean and George Clooney will host from Haiti, New York and Los Angeles respectively. Performances from the 'Hope for Haiti Now' telethon can be purchased at the iTunes store following the show. Proceeds will be donated to Haiti relief charities.

AOL, in addition to fellow online streaming Web sites YouTube and MTV.com, will also feed the telethon live. The two-hour special airs commercial free Jan. 22 at 8PM, on ABC, CBS, NBC, FOX, CNN, BET, HBO, MTV, VH1 and several other channels.
