By now, you would think an artist would refrain from trying to board an airplane with a gun, but unfortunately that's not the case with Benzino. The former 'Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta' star was arrested in an Atlanta airport for having a loaded gun in his bag.

TMZ reports the incident went down Tuesday (Jan. 27), when the rapper and reality show cast member was leaving Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport to head to Los Angeles. A TSA employee, who became suspicious of Benzino, searched his duffle bag and found a loaded 9 millimeter handgun with seven rounds in the magazine.

From there, Benzino, born Raymond Scott, was arrested and placed in jail. He was eventually bailed out after paying $3,000.

This isn't the first time the 50-year-old had problems while traveling. In May of 2014, he was kicked off a flight in Chicago after there was some questions about his seating. A yelling match ensued and the Boston native accused one of the flight attendants of being racist.

Benzino has yet to make a comment on his Atlanta arrest.
