'Bad Boys II' may be Michael Bay’s most polarizing film, thanks to its convoluted story and unrelenting action. But as the first release under Bad Boy Entertainment’s then-new partnership with Universal, the label’s impresario pulled out all of the stops to create an indisputably great record loaded with killer tracks. Nelly’s 'Shake Ya Tailfeather' actually won a Grammy for Best Rap Performance By A Duo Or Group, but the disc racked up hits 50 Cent and Notorious B.I.G ('Realest Ni--as'), Diddy Feat. Pharrell, Lenny Kravitz & Loon ('Show Me Your Soul') and Jay Z ('La-La-La'). Additionally, the album featured songs by Beyonce, Justin Timberlake, Snoop Dogg, and Mary J. Blige, making it a proper all-star affair.
