We all know that Kenneth "Babyface" Edmonds is a star in his own right. But on Thursday (Oct. 10), the legendary producer received an official star cemented on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

Babyface, who has crafted hits for hundreds of artists during his career, received his honor with Antonio "L.A." Reid, Usher and Diddy at his side. Of course, the producer's longtime muse Toni Braxton was in the house too. The duo are set to release their duets album 'Love, Marriage & Divorce' in November.

It was certainly a star-studded affair. Recording artists Stevie Wonder, Kenny G., Colby Caillat and others were in attendance, as well as celebrities Holly Robinson Peete and Kris Jenner. Most importantly, Babyface's family was there to watch him get honored by his peers.

A 10-time Grammy Award-winning triple threat (singer-songwriter-producer), Babyface penned some of the most memorable R&B jams in the 1990s, and continues to do so with a new generation of artists including Lil Wayne and Ariana Grande.

"Everybody has a song or that moment when Kenny, or Babyface, really set the stage for what cool was," Usher said about his mentor. "'Whip Appeal' was my moment."

Babyface was humbled by the recognition. "I'm still kind of freaked out that [this is] happening," he said.
