B.o.B. will kick off his first headlining tour in August after wrapping up his current performance dates in New Zealand, Australia and Japan.

Earlier this month, the Atlanta rapper told TheBoomBox that he had recruited Roc Nation rapper J. Cole to join him on the Shootin' for Stars tour which is currently set to run through November. "I just want to show people that there are endless possibilities of what you can do," he said in a statement about the tour. "You don't just have to be a rapper, you don't just have to be a tapper; you can be anything you want to be and whatever you do, just love it and it will show."

The Grand Hustle Records artist dropped his debut album 'The Adventures of Bobby Ray,' in May and watched his first two singles, 'Nothin' on You' and 'Airplanes' climb to the top of the Billboard Hot 100 charts.

"It feels like somebody took my career, took dynamite in it, lit it and just blew it up," he told The BoomBox. "It's everywhere. It's allover the place, and it's good because I feel like I've worked about four years, really professional in the music industry. It's been a lifelong journey but the past four years it's been a ride. It really has."

Tour dates are expected to roll out shortly.
