Azealia Banks' Twitter account is gone -- and tweeters couldn't be happier.

"Ok, today, i'm finally making the decision to eject from social media," tweeted Banks before she deactivated the account. "American media culture is honestly so f------- disgusting and junky and complaining about it is not going to change it. reading s---, seeing stupid ass articles and dumb bitches/bros has just really filled me up with a lot of bad feelings."

She also went on to explain that the decision will make her "happier."

"It's been a great couple of years, sharing opinions and having conversations, but i think i will be so much happier just NOT looking at this. (Americans have the WORST taste in everything.) So my friends, its time to say goodbye once and for all to this account. This account will exist no more. Time for a bit of Mystery... Goodbye," read a series of her tweets.

Twitter rejoiced as news of her departure spread -- and with the newly-installed GIF keyboard, it got intense. Black Twitter went haywire and even started the hashtag #AzealiaBanksDeactivatedParty which is certain to go down in social media history.

Banks, who's arguably become ubiquitous more for controversy than her eclectic music, has long been Twitter-infamous; regularly getting into heated battles online and finding herself in confrontational situations.  Over the years, she's aimed her vitriol at Erykah Badu, Nicki Minaj, Kendrick Lamar, Rihanna, Taylor Swift, Iggy Azalea and many others.

But Ms. Broke With Expensive Taste isn't off social media entirely; she's still on Instagram, though her profile is now set to private. And she's still serving shade. On one of Badu's latest photos, Banks wrote "Eww" in the comments.

*Side eye.

But we hope Banks can find the peace she seems to desperately need -- and share her newfound "No Twitter" philosophy with Kanye West and Meek Mill.
