Azealia Banks has turned her fight with Russell Crowe into a criminal matter. The "212" rapper has filed a battery report with police against the actor for allegedly assaulting her at his party.

As we previously reported, Banks, who was a plus-one guest of RZA, attended Crowe’s party and reportedly threatened to stab everyone at the shindig and allegedly hurled the N-word. Crowe was not happy with Banks’ behavior and roughly tossed her out of the party. He then called hotel security who removed Banks from the premises.

Banks claims Crowe choked her, spat on her and then used the N-word while throwing her out. Apparently, not one man in the room came to her aid.

Later, Banks demanded an apology from Crowe and when she didn’t get it, she went to the Beverly Hills Police Department on Sunday afternoon (Oct. 16) and filed a battery report. Crowe's reps told TMZ that the actor will not apologize because he feels that he didn't do anything wrong.

Meanwhile, the 52-year-old actor has yet to make a public statement about this alleged assault. The RZA, who recently signed Banks to his record label, also hasn't commented on this incident as well.

We now have to wait and see how all of this is going to play out. Stay tuned.
