It looks like Azealia Banks is turning over a new leaf. The Harlem rhymer has squashed her long-standing feud with Erykah Badu.

The reconciliation happened on Tuesday (April 12) when Banks responded to a fan’s comment on Twitter suggesting that she and the R&B icon end their beef and become best friends.

Initially, the “212” rapper was optimistic about ending the feud because she felt that Badu misunderstood what she was doing on social media. “She wants to be the only one in hip-hop kicking knowledge,” she wrote.

Badu caught wind of her comment and responded on her Twitter account praising the 24-year-old rapper for being an advocate for young people. The “On and On” singer then apologized to Banks.

Banks accepted Badu’s apology and unblocked her. “I grew up on your music and you got my mother thru lots of heartbreak and pain,” she wrote. “[I] was very taken aback and hurt when u threw me shade. I'm glad it's over now. My mother will be happy about this.”

“[And I] apologize for all the stupid things I said in response. I honestly look up to you and think your incredible,” she added.

Badu responded back with a heart emoji.

Can you feel the love?

We are glad that Azealia Banks squashed her Twitter beef with Erykah Badu. Last week, the "Liquorice" rapper apologized to Sarah Palin for her remarks towards her.

However, Banks has bumped with several other artists on Twitter. It will be interesting to see if Banks waves the olive branch to K. Michelle and Iggy Azalea.
