Azealia Banks Endorses Donald Trump, Twitter Slander Follows

Azealia Banks is known for being very opinionated on Twitter whether you like it or not. On Monday (Feb. 1), the Harlem rhymer went on her timeline to endorse presidential contender Donald Trump.

“Ok so, I think I’m ready to admit that I’m going to vote for Donald Trump,” she tweeted. “I think Trump is the only one who truly has the balls to bust up big business. Hilary is too tied in with them and Bernie has no clout.”

"The other candidates are simply ... 'Them hoes over there' #thots," she added.

Of course, Banks' thoughts on the presidential race was met with some vicious slander. Reactions were mixed--with some people supporting the "212" rapper's right to speak her mind without backlash to others calling her an idiot.

"Love @AZEALIABANKS though. she always adds to the conversation and it def makes you go #hmm," wrote one follower, while another tweeted, "In other news, it has been medically discovered that azealia banks actually has no brain."

In response to the backlash, Banks urged her followers to have an open mind and not be so quick with attacking her. "Well I hope you all are as open-minded and tolerant of others as you all claim to be and respect my opinions," she wrote.
