Just when you thought it was safe to listen to your favorite R&B singer, an August Alsina and Trey Songz feud has been reignited.

On Friday (March 24), Trey Songz appeared on Power 105.1’s The Breakfast Club to discuss a myriad of topics, including his past relationships with Nicki Minaj, Drake and August Alsina. During the conversation, Songz made it clear that he’s a lover not a fighter.

When asked if he would get physical with any of his rivals, Songz responded, “August was talking crazy a couple years ago and I ain’t want to fight. I don’t want to fight.”

“I want to get some money,” he continued. “There’s other people who got problems with me that I ain’t even address. I don’t want to fight nobody. That don’t prove nothing.”

Alsina wasn’t feeling his comments and responded to Songz on his Instagram page. The “I Luv This S---” singer called him goofy and gave him a cautionary warning. “Stretch before you reach next time n----! And don’t mention my name. (Back to the Real World, where real problems exist.)”

Songz would later respond to Alsina on IG as well. He posted a photo of himself with a big smile. The caption reads, “I done told y'all people you can't have my joy! Don't take yourself so serious, cause I don't. God got me.”

Alsina and Songz’s beef dates back to 2014 when they had a falling out while they were on tour together. They later squashed the beef onstage at the 2014 BET Awards, but now it looks like they are ready to rumble again.

Can we all just get along?
