Atlanta news reporter Fred Blankenship and traffic reporter Mark Arum are back at it again— this time they showed their appreciation for Rakim Allah who celebrated his 50th birthday on Sunday (Jan. 28).

Throughout their morning broadcast on ABC affiliate WBS-TV, the duo swapped verses from Eric B and Rakim’s classic songs including “Paid in Full,” “I Ain’t No Joke,” "Microphone Fiend" and “Don’t Sweat the Technique.”

Arum would later post an edited video of their tribute on his Facebook page on Monday (Jan. 29). The caption reads, “Happy 50th to the legend Rakim from two of his biggest fans, me and Fred Blankenship!”

Blankenship and Arum are famous for showing off their hip-hop knowledge and adding rap lyrics to their news reports. It all started with their tribute to A Tribe Called Quest rapper Phife Dawg who passed away in 2016. Since then, they have honored late hip-hop icons like The Notorious B.I.G., Tupac Shakur and Mobb Deep's Prodigy.
