Asher Roth gets animated (as in he becomes an actual cartoon character) in his fun-loving new video for 'Apples & Bananas.' And, as you might expect, things get a little weird.

The track stems from the Pennsylvania-hailing rapper's latest mixtape, 'The Greenhouse Effect Vol. 2,' and it's produced by Dave Sitek, of TV On The Radio. Sitek provides a playful, snare-heavy instrumental, which Roth complements with a stoner-comedy take on the children's song of the same name. You know, the one that goes "I like to eat, eat, eat apples and bananas," and so on? Of course you do.

Anyway, the animation allows for Roth and his video cohorts, including a busty bikini-wearing female and a bulldog, to do whatever they see fit. This includes cooking up steaks on the grill, diving into a pool that's apparently thousands of feet deep, and sending dogs into the sky via fireworks. In other words, it's just another day in the life for Mr. Roth.
