In the latest episode of Noisey's 'Back & Forth' series, A$AP Rocky and Snoop Lion spoke on one of their biggest pet peeves in this new era: male groupies.

Both Snoop and Rocky recounted tales of having to deal with overzealous male fans. Snoop attributes the rise of this generation's "hater" culture to the fact that him and his crew used to beat up male groupies back in the 1990s. However, Snoop advises Rocky to be more judicious in his approach, as these male groupies in this era are ultimately fans and supporters and are very valuable.

Snoop also spoke about a time when his cousin, Daz Dillinger, turned on him, which caused a falling out. Ultimately, Snoop lets him know that "stars are born, not made" and that he has achieved his success for a reason, and this cannot be recreated.

The rapper formerly known as Snoop Dogg may always be very high, but he's also a savvy, experienced artist who has been around the industry for over 20 years now. Most impressively, he has shown a willingness to coach the next generation of stars and drop jewels on them.
