A$AP Ferg is in full grind mode. The Harlem MC keeps on pushing the envelope by delivering new innovative tracks, from his dance-provoking “Dope Walk” to his reggae groove “Petit Valley.” But although Fergie gets experimental with his rhymes, he reminds us of his Trap Lord roots with the visuals for the YG-assisted “This Side," a song off his Ferg Forever mixtape.

Ferg and YG take you down memory lane with outtakes from their Best Coast Connection Tour. The clip features shots from the two taking the stage. With the dimly lit stairwells and blood red filter, the video falls in line with the song's theme, which pays homage to their gang affiliations.

“His little brother Donny was my best friend and he was a blood / And his daddy in the pen and he was too / And his mom ya ya even she was a blood / Donny had a set called LN-Dub they wore a burgundy flag to show their bloody love / For 31 seconds in an elevator baa like a hundred n----s / Go n---- rep your blood your thug,” Ferg rhymes on the opening verse.

“This Side” marks the third video Ferg dropped since he released his DJ Drama-hosted Ferg Forever mixtape in November. He's currently in the process of working on his sophomore album, the follow-up to 2013's Trap Lord.
