The new year comes with blessings from the 'Trap Lord.' A$AP Ferg helps bring 2013 to a close with the video for 'Hood Pope,' a standout from his debut album.

As described in the song, things are dire in the inner city. Ferg notices this when he sees a woman on TV preaching in a UNICEF-inspired commercial being filmed in his neighborhood. Donations aren't going to help the situation, however; these kids need the 'Hood Pope.'

Although the kids arguably aren't struggling enough to require such a commercial (they can't be if one is wearing Jordans), the A$AP Mob member comes to the rescue by performing various miracles. The video, directed by Shomi Patwary and the Hood Pope himself, follows him riding around in a Jeep, performing a baptism and healing a child of his facial scars.

If all those events don't sound interesting, the sight of the 'Trap Lord' literally rising into the sky is worth the four minutes. Do you believe in the Hood Pope?

Ferg and the A$AP Mob will be back at it again when they release their 'Lord' group EP March 4.
