An Arizona woman who garnered sympathy on social media after she was arrested for leaving her two sons in a hot car while she went on a job interview is in trouble with the law.

You may remember Shanesha Taylor's teary-eyed mugshot, which touched the hearts of hundreds of people who sympathized with her plight. After the photo gained media attention, over $100,000 was raised through online donations to help her out. To avoid jail time, Taylor made a deal with prosecutors to put the donation money in a trust fund for her two children.

Apparently, she didn't do that.

According to Fox 10 News, Taylor allegedly spent all of the money on designer clothes and family trips. Incredulously, $6,000 was purportedly spent on studio time for her baby daddy's rap album.

“I feel bamboozled and used a little bit," said Reverend Jarrett Maupin, who helped raise funds so Taylor could get back on her feet. "But I don't regret it because on its face she was what she was. Everyone had sympathy for her, but what she's become is something quite different.”

Now the plea deal is off and Taylor has acquired a public defender as she heads into trial next month to explain what happened to all of the donations.

"When it wasn't spent to pay rent, it wasn't spent to buy a new car, it wasn't spent on the children's trust, yet you're applying for a public defender because you're broke. All signs point to the money being gone," said Maupin.

Taylor is now on social media asking once again for public donations to pay for her legal fees and she is still unemployed.

Her trial is set to begin on Dec. 10.
