Festival season is heating up as several organizers started announcing their headlining acts including Jazz in the Gardens Music Festival. The annual Miami event is set to host performances by Aretha Franklin, Janelle Monae and Usher at the Sun Life Stadium.

The two-day festival often includes jazz, R&B and neo-soul acts. Kool and the Gang, Babyface, Michael McDonald, Average White Band, Fred Hammond and Regina Belle are also slated to grace the stage for the festival's 11th year.

Along with the festival, Miami hosts a Woman's Impact Luncheon and an opening night party. It will also shine some light on up-and-comers, as the organizers held open submissions for artists to send in their music for a chance to be one of the three artists to perform on stage.

Previous acts have included Mary J. Blige, Robin Thicke, Maxwell, Boyz II Men, Lauryn Hill and El Debarge.

Many are already counting down the days to the festival. "JAZZ IN THE GARDENS...T-MINUS 6 WEEKS AND COUNTING," tweeted one social media user. "I know I'm not missing Jazz in the Gardens, have your face in the place because the line up is mind blowing!" tweeted another.

And we're sure with this year's lineup, it's going to be lit.
