Producer AraabMuzik is on the mend after being shot several times during a robbery attempt in a Harlem garage in New York on Thursday (Feb. 25).

According to Billboard, the 26-year-old studio maverick, who has produced tracks for Cam’ron, 50 Cent and Fabolous, was preparing to leave the ProPark America parking garage when he got behind the wheel of his friend’s BMW.

That’s when two men approached the driver’s side and tricked AraabMuzik into thinking he had dropped something. When he rolled down the window that’s when the men fired several bullets into the vehicle, hitting AraabMuzik in the jaw and right arm as well as grazed him in the head.

A friend of his, James Malloy, who is on the passenger's side, was shot in the right leg and is in stable condition at St. Luke’s Hospital.

AraabMuzik, whose real name is Abraham Orellana, is still in the hospital and is in good spirits. "He is out of surgery and expected to make a full recovery,” his rep told Billboard. “Out of respect for his privacy and legal issues around this matter, no further comments will be made at this time."

AraabMuzik’s mentor, hitmaker Swizz Beatz, visited him at the hospital and assured the producer's fans that he is going to pull through.

“The blessings are real. My brother who's like my son @araabmuzik would like for everyone to know he is good and thx for the prayers,” he wrote on his Instagram page. “#positivevibesonly I would also like to send much love to the amazing doctors & team that saved his life.”

This incident certainly gives AraabMuzik deja vu. In May 2013, the producer was shot during a robbery attempt for his expensive necklace.

It's about time AraabMuzik invest in some bulletproof gear. We are just saying.

We are happy that AraabMuzik survived this latest attack on his life. We want to wish him a speedy recovery.
